Party Hostess

Party Hostess

Fatigued, and she won’t let her eyelids droop

Unplanned party, her worst nightmare comes true

Dreams of chaos, mess played on a loop

A stocked, color-coded pantry, her cue

Tremors of a surprise party, she snoops

Gasps, frets at the menu, she has no clue

Mismatched coasters, cutlery take a toll

Faints as her world spiraled out of control
